In this role, you will:

  • Develop and deliver our ambitious B2C growth marketing plan to scale OpenClassrooms’ student acquisition and retention in France, the UK and the US.

  • Grow and manage our performance marketing operations delivering against our acquisition and retention targets for B2C through channels such as digital media, our partnership network, SEO, and organic capabilities including the OpenClassrooms free product.. This will include a strong focus on CRM and partnering across the business to acquire and engage across the full student and customer lifecycle.

  • Develop our measurement, reporting and tracking capabilities – including working on our tracking and tech roadmap, reporting consistency and forecasting accuracy.

  • Hire, manage, and empower a world-class marketing team:

    Maintain and nurture strong employee engagement and ENPS (target at 47 in 2022).

    Create an inclusive, dynamic working environment that brings out the best in reporting managers, and creates clear paths for staff growth and career development.

  • Elevate our Marketing leadership team and partnership across the business. To be successful this person will need to partner brilliantly across the organisation working with brand, product marketing, Product and Revenue teams to define and execute on strategy and goals and deliver an integrated experience for our students and customers.


    This job will report to the Chief Marketing Officer.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience across the full range of growth marketing techniques for online services including planning, segmentation, SEO, CRM, media buying, partnerships and affiliates.

  • Experience working in the fast-moving, hands-on, start-up/scale-up type of environment is advantageous.

  • Strong knowledge and proven commercial success in a consumer business with an integrated sales and marketing approach.

  • Experience in implementing and monitoring strong marketing analytics and efficiency, in order to measure and optimize marketing spend.

  • Experience working with and managing third-party media vendors.

  • Comprehensive understanding of the latest trends in marketing, digital, advertising, and CRM approaches.

  • Proven people management skills across diverse geographical backgrounds and cultures, ability to establish strong relationships.
