Corporate Communication Coordinator

Description

 

  • Strategize, develop, execute, and schedule communications across different digital platforms working with appropriate teams and secure approvals
  • Maintain and produce the region’s cross-channel editorial calendar
  • Develop and execute a robust content management plan for our internal and external communication strategies
  • Be the primary community manager on our internal digital platforms (MyELC, ELC EMEA private Instagram)
  • Develop and execute a robust LinkedIn strategy for the region with the help of internal stakeholders 
  • Work with design team and external agencies (when required) to ensure content on our platforms represents our prestige design standards.
  • Maintain corporate email accounts and monitor inboxes weekly.
  • Develop metrics and be responsible for tracking measurements that assess the effectiveness of internal communications initiatives, particularly on our digital platforms.
  • Compile, edit announcements and manage the process for organizational announcements.
  • Support with organization and coordination of employee engagement events (e.g. townhalls)
  • Be flexible in supporting the VP, Corporate Affairs on a variety of projects that span the Corporate Communications space
  • Manages leadership communication for the President of the region (and other key EMEA leaders as required) across internal and external channels
  • Support executive speaking engagement requests as directed by VP, Corporate Affairs.
  • Monitor and support with media / press engagement requests in the different local markets of the region in coordination with market, brand and function teams
  • Proactively bring issues and recommended solutions to supervisor’s attention.
  • Coordinate with Vice President on Issues Management and Reputation building strategies.
  • Develop guidelines and toolkits for different corporate campaigns and help with the cascading and execution of these campaigns at local levels. Consequentially monitor the metrics of the campaigns and share best practices.
  • Guide different markets, brands and teams regarding key issues and best practices recommended concerning key industry / company moments as directed by the VP, Corporate Affairs
  • Develop strong organizational skills and maintain a very good archive of assets and materials.
  • Manage the regional social impact platform ELC Good Works. Work with the regional office teams and market teams to deploy relevant donation and volunteering campaign
  • Manages the execution of the annual Breast Cancer Campaign communications every October across different touchpoints, markets, channels with different stakeholders
  • Build a one team spirit by managing the extended corporate communication team and the team’s intern 

Qualifications

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Excellent verbal/written communications skills required, with the demonstrated ability to write for various audiences in multiple formats.
  • Digitally-savvy with some experience in social media
  • Able to handle multiple projects gracefully and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Solid follow up skills.
  • Independent, driven and incredibly detail-oriented; strong customer focus, excellent team player, exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • Poised, professional, proactive and positive attitude. Strong interpersonal skills are required, with a win-win approach to collaboration and relationship-building.
  • Ability to coordinate with external agencies and provide creative input for video production
  • Ability to naturally connect with leaders and draft high-touch leadership communications
  • Updated in topics concerning Social Impact, Sustainability and Inclusion, Diversity, Equity
  • Ability to organize large scale events both in-person and online
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to the different content management software (Salesforce, Opal, Unily etc.)
  • Excellent overall understanding of the company, culture, values, leaders, key messages, priorities, programs and initiatives
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote; design knowledge highly encourage (e.g. Illustrator, InDesign, PremierPro, Photoshop) can work on both a PC and a MAC
